- Customers – Through our monthly Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Car Rental brand service-quality index surveys, we constantly keep our finger on the pulse of what matters most to customers. In addition, we have established online customer communities to test brand initiatives and concerns.
- Business Partners – Enterprise Holdings works closely with our major accounts – including large corporations, insurance companies and travel agencies – to better understand and serve a variety of organizations in the global marketplace.
- Employees – We annually survey employees and encourage feedback through routine performance reviews and internal communication mechanisms.
- Manufacturers and Suppliers – We play a unique role in the automotive value chain and regularly work with manufacturers upstream and with suppliers downstream to deliver a total transportation solution.
- Government Agencies – We continue to speak up for consumers on issues that affect them and the car rental and travel industries, as well as to advocate for the health and sustainability of the car rental and travel industries overall.
In addition, by taking an active role in non-government organizations (NGOs) that unite industry, government and academia, we are able to gain and share valuable insights – while enriching the well-being of the communities we serve.
For example, Enterprise Holdings reports annually to the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), an international not-for-profit organization providing a global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to transparently report their environmental impacts.
Enterprise Holdings is a member of the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Alliance, a public-private partnership focused on facilitating a single, open-market and full deployment of MaaS services in Europe and beyond.
The Enterprise Holdings Foundation also has collaborated with the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, the largest independent plant research center in the world, to establish the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Institute for Renewable Fuels. Under the direction of Dr. Tom Brutnell, the Institute aims to create the next generation of alternative fuel technologies from environmentally sound plant and algal sources. Another strategic philanthropic initiative includes an endowment for sustainable energy research at the University of Missouri, which is already yielding promising results in the field of biofuels.
