LONDON (Feb. 12, 2018) - Employees of Cardiff-based financial services provider MotoNovo Finance will now be using Enterprise Car Club following MotoNovo’s move to new offices in Central Square with limited on-site parking. 

MotoNovo already sources vehicles on both daily and long-term rental from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. 

It previously operated a pool car that was used by employees taking shorter journeys, but the new offices have less parking space and an additional vehicle would have added to the traffic congestion in Cardiff city centre. 

It has therefore chosen to use on-street Enterprise Car Club vehicles instead. The car club has a number of vehicles parked in on-street bays in Cardiff, including one just outside MotoNovo’s new offices. These are available for use by anyone who is an Enterprise Car Club member. 

MotoNovo employees can now simply book one of those cars 24/7, 365 days a year, either online or via the mobile app. 

The business is also continuing to use Enterprise Rent-A-Car vehicles for longer trips, including both daily rentals, as well as cars on long-term Month Or More hire for use by new starters who have not yet taken delivery of their company cars. 

Laura Popplewell, human resources officer at MotoNovo Finance, comments: “We’ve been working with Enterprise for years to provide daily and longer-term rental vehicles for our field sales teams and head office staff. The office move meant much less on-site parking and more pressure on our older pool car so we talked to Enterprise about other mobility options. 

“Together we decided to enrol our employees into Enterprise Car Club, which has a large number of new and hybrid vehicles parked around Cardiff and in several bays close to our office. This means we can have 24/7, cost-effective access to mobility, and we’re helping to ease traffic congestion in central Cardiff. 

“We receive email alerts to help us manage how and when employees book the car club vehicles, which gives us total control, plus our employees can now also access cars in 24 other towns and cities around the UK. Working with Enterprise to take a single view of our business mobility needs makes life a lot easier, and enables us to pick the perfect option for the job.” 

Adrian Bewley, head of business mobility at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, adds: “Large and fast-growing businesses such as MotoNovo have a wide range of mobility requirements. Renting a car by the day is not always the best solution.
